LCES had its first book club meeting of the year on Monday afternoon. Not only did they talk about their summer reading, but they also worked together on planning a service learning project for this year. We are excited to see what they accomplish as a group! #TR1BE

Students in Mrs. Gastley's class are using our 1:1 technology to engage in a friendly competition of Kahoot! Learning in and out of the classroom is complemented by the technology resources of today, and our students are well-equipped in this twenty-first century! #TR1BE

Due to guidance released just yesterday from the Georgia Department of Education, we are currently amending student schedules at all three of our elementary schools. Please allow our administrators and registrars through the weekend to make the necessary changes. Contacting the school by phone or email to ask about your child's teacher will only slow down the process. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Even with this delay, we are excited for the new school year and for you and your child to meet teachers Tuesday during our elementary open house! In fact, to accommodate work schedules, we've added an additional time for Elementary Schools Open House from 5:00-6:00 PM that evening. #TR1BE
