Class of 2023 displayed #chivalryinaction last week while visiting Medieval Times. This trip came on the heels of a unit about The Canterbury Tales and codes of honor in their English classes. What a great way to celebrate this collection of literature!






Opportunities to work with children in our community abound for Teaching As A Profession students. This past Friday, TAP students served at Blackburn’s Bearjam. Thank you to Dr. Green and our friends at Blackburn for allowing us to be part of your special day.

Teaching As A Profession students spent yesterday at UNG with the College of Education ambassadors. TAP students have many opportunities throughout their coursework classes to explore universities that offer degrees in Education.


Career exploration continues to be a focus for CTAE teachers! Mr. Riley Ray took his students to Peach State Freightliner yesterday to learn more about careers in the diesel industry!

On March ninth and tenth, twenty-three LCHS students competed in seventeen different competitions at the state SkillsUSA Georgia conference. Fourteen students placed, earning a medal, and multiple students were awarded scholarships. A.J. Moss and Damon Martin will represent LCHS and the state of Georgia at the National SkillsUSA competition in June. Great work LCHS!
