Do you want to be a part of something big?! LCHS is currently seeking sponsors for the Aim-Achieve-Arrive Center. Any amount is appreciated to help them reach their goal of $10,000 (they are almost halfway to their goal now). Link to Donate: https://freedonationkiosk.com:9011/lumpkin/donation/new The AAA Center will serve students by preparing them for internships, apprenticeships, and careers. Your donation will go directly to purchasing clothing for interviews and jobs. The AAA Center grand opening and ribbon cutting is March 11th. All sponsors will be recognized with their name or business displayed on a plaque in the Center. #FocusedForward #TR1BE

Mr. Win Crannell visited the visual arts classes today. He shared his artwork and his career. He led the class in a group drawing of a large tree while students also created individual drawings. We appreciate Mr. Crannell's willingness to share his talents with us each year.

LCHS is currently evacuated due to smoke in a vacated classroom setting off our fire alarm. All students and staff are safe. We are awaiting the all clear from the fire department before we allow students and staff back in to the building. We anticipate that all-clear in the next ten minutes.

Kindness is the character Ed word of the month and it was in abundance today as FCCLA and Mrs. Hunsinger’s Education classes hosted neighboring classes for Valentine themed learning stations. Math and sensory experiences along with some Valentine “mailing” made for a great morning yesterday. The day was wrapped up with some smiles at the selfie station and a dance party.
