Today LCHS students traveled to North Georgia Technical College to compete at the Skills USA region 2 competition. Gold and Silver medalist will compete at the state level in March. Lumpkin County once again was the leading medal winner for Region 2. Thanks for your continued support!! Annah Faith’s closet is gearing up for spring. We are now accepting donations for prom. HOSA appreciates the support. Dresses can be dropped off at the LCHS front office.




LCHS Governance Team met for their monthly meeting yesterday and enjoyed a tour of the updated STEAM lab with Dr. Covert followed by a tour of the JROTC Rifle Range with SFC Fugate. Our members tested their marksmanship and Camille Walker was named the sharpshooter of the day!





Ms. Cindy Hunsinger took her Lumpkin Youth Leadership students off campus yesterday to learn more about "Managing Conflict" at the Lumpkin County Justice Center. The kids would like to thank Sheriff Stacy Jarrard for spending time with them and driving their bus.

Ms. Quigley's Advanced Musical Theatre class is getting ready to start auditions for FOOTLOOSE the Musical. Lots of great dancing led by our choreographer, Kailey Moster.

With the help of our Environmental Awareness Club, LCHS has recycled 4,047 bottles to date!

Congratulations to our LCHS FBLA students and their advisor Mrs. Amy Lincoln! Last night LCHS FBLA earned FIRST place at Regions for the 5th time in 7 years. They walked into this competition with 35 competitors who dominated their events earning more medals than ever before. The group earned 32 overall medals with 6 of those being 1st place and 9 being 2nd. Kudos to the18 students placing high enough to qualify for the State Competition this spring! Well done FBLA! Well done Mrs. Lincoln!
