LCHS Track started the season off in a dominant fashion as it traveled to West Hall High School. Lumpkin finished 1st overall with combined boys and girls score. The woman’s team took first after more than doubling the second place team score! LCHS broke 3 school records yesterday taking first in 13 different events. The most outstanding player was senior team captain Mercedes Housman. Housman took first place in all four of her events: 100m dash, long jump, triple jump, and the 4x100. LCHS hosted the Lumpkin Leadership Class of 2022 today. More than 30 business and industry leaders from our community spent their day integrating with students, learning content, creating artifacts, and enjoying our one-of-a-kind deluxe salad bar school lunch. We were proud to showcase our school, cafe, teachers, and student body. They left our building with a better understanding about our mission; to educate and empower life-long learners. Today was a great day to be an Indian!
